We hope that you managed to make the most of Christmas and New Year and that you and your loved ones are fit and well.
After last night’s announcement you can be forgiven for wondering what’s happening within the property industry.
We wanted to reassure you that we’re open for business, however taking every step necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff.
The government guidance is as follows –
‘You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary. Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings.’
Please note that removal firms will remain open and can be used when necessary.
Viewings and appraisals can proceed providing –
- Attendees have shown no symptoms for Covid-19, have not been asked to self-isolate within the last 72 hours or are awaiting a test result.
- Face coverings are worn in doors and social distance is maintained.
- Windows / doors are opened to encourage air flow.
We will also be filming video tours of the property and sending these to applicants ahead of in person viewings.
Our office opening hours are unaffected and key collection can be conducted through the letter box at the front of the office building on Grange Road.
